Thank you for your partnership in ministry with us. We are so grateful for the financial gifts given to allow us to continue the work of accomplishing God's mission and vision for our church. Please know that your generous giving is making a difference for the glory of God at our church.
Why We Give
We give as an act of worship to God. We desire our giving to be the overflow of our love and gratitude for God and all He has done for us. Truly we can never outgive God.
The Scripture teaches generosity, and we desire to model that for the world. Rose Park Baptist Church encourages members to follow the Biblical admonition to give of our “firstfruits” back to the Lord as He has prospered us. Our giving is both a renunciation of greed as an idol and an acknowledgment that all we have been given is given to us by God and is to be used for his purposes. It is an expression of worship in response to all that God has done in our midst.
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
~ 2 Corinthians 9:7
